#pay4plastics Program

The Plastic Bag Diet Campaign was initiated by Greeneration Indonesia in 2010 with a pilot project of plastic bag donations (paid for plastics) from 2010-2011. The campaign aims to encourage people to reduce plastic bag usage while also raising awareness about plastic bag waste through the implementation of SOP #pay4plastic. In this program, Circle K encouraged consumers to buy BaGoes bags for IDR 25,000, while if consumers continued to use plastic bags from Circle K, they would be sold for IDR 100. The amount of money from the bags was claimed to be used for environmental conservation and the Clean Up Your City program (cleaning activities).
