Philippines Reuse Study Tour and Conference

In celebration of International Zero Waste Month 2025, Plasticdiet Indonesia, as the co-convenor of the Asia Reuse Consortium, supported the organizing of the Philippines Reuse Study Tour and Conference in collaboration with Mother Earth Foundation, Greenpeace Philippines, GAIA Asia Pacific, and Break Free from Plastic in January 2025.

This three-day event featured a conference with reuse business actors and multi-sectoral stakeholders, as well as a field tour to observe the development and implementation of the reuse ecosystem in the Philippines. During this occasion, the Philippines Reuse Consortium (PRC) was established, emphasizing the importance of collaboration among policymakers, businesses, and communities in institutionalizing reuse systems and promoting sustainable environmental and economic benefits.
